Tropical fruit sounds simple until you smell a fragrance that actually gets the balance right. Too much sweetness and it turns into syrup. Too much citrus and it disappears into another generic fresh scent.
Tropical Dream, our Anelo-inspired fragrance, sits between the two.
Pineapple, pomelo and mandarin
The opening is bright and juicy. Pineapple gives it the recognisable tropical hit, pomelo adds a sharper bitter-citrus edge and mandarin rounds it out.
Mango, ginger and magnolia
The middle is where the fragrance gets more interesting. Mango brings warmth and ripeness, ginger adds energy, and magnolia keeps the centre from feeling too dense.
Dry amber, vetiver and patchouli
Instead of finishing with more sugar, Tropical Dream dries down into amber, vetiver and patchouli. That gives the fragrance a drier, cleaner base and makes the tropical fruit feel more grown-up.
When would we wear it?
This is an obvious spring and summer fragrance, but it also works whenever you want something bright and energising. Daytime, holidays, weekends, warm evenings — it does not need much overthinking.
Is it unisex?
Yes. Tropical Dream is listed as unisex. The fruit is juicy, but the dry woody base keeps it from leaning too sweet in either direction.
Should you sample it first?
If you already know you love pineapple and mango fragrances, you will probably understand the appeal quickly. If tropical scents are new territory, a sample is still the smartest way to test how the fruit and vetiver behave on your skin.
